Digital Networks Releases New SAN Solutions With Open-E

Our Teravault line of storage servers - first released in 2001 - is now available with a range of storage area network (SAN) options.

For block based storage, we now offer and support iSCSI over Ethernet with load balancing to support up to 350MB/s of bandwidth. For fibre channel users, we offer a 4Gbps Fibre Channel option that supports up to 500MB/s of bandwidth in dual channel mode. For ultimate throughput, we also offer a 20Gbps InfiniBand option.

The optional Open-E software is an embedded operating system with a Web based interface that makes SAN management a doddle. Block based virtualized storage (SAN) and file based storage (NAS) are supported simultaneously.

We offer a line of storage servers from 16TB to 54TB in size. We also offer energy efficient storage solutions with our RS3000e product using just 140 watts when idle.
