Openvirt
Virtual Machine ManagementThe control panel makes it easy to create, modify, control, migrate and clone virtual machines. You can manage the whole infrastructure from a single login. Just select a host to view the machines that are running on it. Select a virtual machine to manage it.
Clicking on the Monitor tab allows you to view details on the load placed on the host by each virtual machine. Get details on CPU, memory, disk IO, disk usage and network IO.
A Java based console gives you access to the virtual machine's console. Very useful for installing a new OS from an ISO image.
Live MigrationOpenvirt supports live migration of virtual machines between different physical hosts. You can even migrate between hosts with completely different CPUs. You can migrate a single virtual machine or a group of virtual machines. The system also supports a "Fetch Primaries" feature where the primary virtual machines for a host will be located in the cluster and migrated back to the host.
Cluster ManagementOpenvirt has been designed from the start to support multiple physical host systems in your infrastructure. Simply add new hosts to the Hosts database and distribute SSH keys. You can also define power distribution units which are used by the HA daemon to fence hosts.
In Global View, get a view across your cluster. See which hosts are running the HA service.
Disk Image ManagementQuickly create, modify and delete the disk images which will function as the virtual disks for the virtual machines. Create disk images in QCOW2 or RAW format. Disk images are easily backed up and the backup can be scheduled.
TemplatesManage the templates which are used to create cloned machines. These templates already have the OS installed. The cloning process takes mere seconds and the new virtual machine is already modified before it is powered on for the first time. You can create your own customised templates or you can download some we've already built.
iSCSI IntegrationQuickly connect to iSCSI targets. Manage multiple iSCSI connections.
Host MonitoringThere are graphs for CPU, memory, disk IO and network IO. Look at performance over an hour, day, week or month.
