iSCSI XenServer Solutions

We provide iSCSI solutions for XenServer. From cost effective Gigabit Ethernet to high performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet, we offer easy to manage low cost solutions for XenServer.

This page shows just how easy it is to integrate one of our hardware Teravault storage servers running an iSCSI solution with XenServer 5.5. This example uses standard Gigabit Ethernet but the procedure is the same for faster 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

iSCSI Integration With XenServer

In XenCenter, click on New Storage. Select iSCSI and then Next.

Give the storage pool a name. Enter the IP address of the iSCSI targer server and then press Discover IQNs. The target IQN will then be picked up. Press Discover LUNs to discover the LUNs. Then press Finish.

The iSCSI storage pool is now ready for use.

It's that easy. This setup will provide a shared storage solution between multiple physical hosts. It will allow you to do live migration between hosts and do high availability.

Openvault

In this example, we've used a Teravault disk storage server with Openvault to provide the iSCSI solution.
